Get Out Of My City!

Perhaps taking exception to some things I've said in the past Cinema Romantico's Official Public Enemy #1 (i.e. Michael Bay) decided that simply making "Transformers 3" and causing me to know it existed wasn't enough. He has now decided to (gulp) film it in the city where I live.

Well played, Mike. Well played. But don't think I won't come down to where you're filming and heckle you. And don't think I won't be able to find where you're filming, either. People will be able to hear you shouting through your bullhorn all the way from Carol Stream, you stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder.

I am actually a little interested to see where they film. Both "The Dark Knight" and "Wanted" were filmed around the area where I work. I might be able to interest Rosie Huntington Whiteley in having a pint with me at Cordoza's.

You're going about this all wrong. Whiteley is young and hot, and no doubt will be pursued by everyone in the city. Francis McDormand, while indeed a recognizable celebrity, doesn't have the same "it" factor as far as the paparazzi is concerned. She is a dignified, intelligent actress who is clearly working for a paycheck by participating in a project far below her usual quality threshold. Thus, I imagine after she has been wrapped for the day she will desire to get as far away from set as possible, perhaps to a quiet bar somewhere for a drink.

Nick, this is your real opportunity to buy a drink for someone amazing. And who knows, maybe she'll bring John Turturro with her.

That's an interesting point. I can totally see Frances McDormand, John Turturro and John Malkovich having to get away after filming every day to a quiet bar to commiserate and keep reminding themselves how much they're getting paid.
