Someone Else Stands Up For Elizabethtown

I have sung the praises of "Elizabethtown" as much as anyone (not that many people have sung its praises). I called it one of My Great Movies and declared I would take it to a desert island (you're damn right, I would) and, why, I just happened to mention it yesterday and then today learned one of the members of the blogerati, The Kid In The Front Row, had authored his own review singing the praises of "Elizabethtown."

Elizabethtown - Greatly Terrible and Terribly Great.

The piece is a must read. So read it. And if you still want to whine about the movie, well, don't whine about it to me because I don't want to hear it.  I really don't.

When Hugh Grant in "Love Actually" became gloomy with the state of the world he went to the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. I just watch "Elizabethtown."
