Three Stills that Prove Nocturnal Animals Will Probably Be the Greatest Movie of All Time

It is dangerous, of course, to take film festival reviews as gospel, where often the reviewers are drunk on film festival beatitude, or maybe just drunk cuz #FilmFestivalNights. It is even more dangerous to judge a movie, an entire movie, a movie that consumes nearly two hours of screen time, on a few still frames. I mean, that’s insanity! The High Court of Film Critics would likely sentence me to some sort of egregious punishment for deigning to author a blog post in which I judged an entire movie on a few stills! But some risks, readers, must be taken, and so I will press forward, boldly and joyfully, for what choice did I have when “Nocturnal Animals” dropped at the Venice Film Festival and a few stills featuring future Oscar-winner Amy Adams illuminated the Interwebs. The following stills unequivocally and scientifically prove that “Nocturnal Animals” will in all likelihood be the greatest movie of all time.

“The predicament of Man forced to live in a barren, Godless eternity like a tiny flame flickering in an immense void with nothing but waste, horror and degradation, forming a useless bleak straitjacket in a black absurd cosmos.”
