Ryan Bingham, Golden Globe Winner

At last evening's always festive Golden Globe Awards T Bone Burnett and Ryan Bingham won for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture for "The Weary Kind" from "Crazy Heart". Burnett, however, ascended the stage alone to accept as apparently Mr. Bingham was out getting a refill on his whiskey or having a smoke (I'm serious - that's probably what he was doing). It just so happens I'm a large fan of Bingham's. I've got both of his albums and I saw him live last July and, of course, I shelled out the 99 cents for "The Weary Kind" on Itunes and so today Cinema Romantico is giving him the face time he was not afforded on last night's telecast. (That's Bingham below on the right.) Congratulations to him and here's hoping we get to see him onstage at the Oscars.
