Funniest Thing I've Heard On TV In 8 To 10 Years

Ben: "I'm sorry, but do people in this town really believe in curses?"
Leslie: "Oh, no. No, we behave rationally and believe we're all in charge of our own destinies. Come on."

-"Parks and Recreation"

Sorry, but I have to disagree with your choice. I much prefer Ron's mind-blowingly-perfect line delivery from a couple weeks ago:

"Give me all your bacon and eggs."
(brief pause)
"Let me stop you. You may have thought you heard me say I wanted a lot of bacon and eggs, but what I said was: Give me all the bacon and eggs you have."

I managed to catch that line when my recording of "30 Rock" started early. I haven't actually watched "Parks & Recreation" yet. But I downloaded all the episodes, and my current plan is to catch up on all 3 seasons over the summer, in time to keep pace with season 4.

On an unrelated note, the word Blogger's verification system made me type in order to post this comment was "ingrate."

That was brilliant, too. And Ron has a great line in this particular episode too about bratwurst but I won't reveal the context.

That said, this exchange between Ben & Leslie was just....gold. I laughed so hard and so long. It sums her up, it sums the town up, and it sums ME up. I'm so in love with this show.

Let's just all agree that PARKS&REC is the best comedy on TV and we can never pick a best line because they're so continuously brilliant. Damn them.
