Brilliance In Just 90 Words

"One of the main reasons I have this job, and why I feel like I'm good at it...you see, I'm naturally suspicious. Sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of the night. I'll be staring off out through the backyard and into the woods and I'll think about all the crime and mayhem happening out there. That's when I start putting it together in my mind. I stalk the criminal. I wait and I watch and I listen. And when the time is just right, that's when I pounce."

You're probably wondering what in the world you just read. You're probably wondering what in the world those lines have to do with anything. I'll tell you. What you just read are THE funniest 90 words you will hear at a movie in 2012. (Yes. I know we still have 4 months to go in 2012. Doesn't matter. You know when you know.) They are brilliant in part because of the words themselves but they are ESPECIALLY brilliant because of the way they are delivered. Who delivers them?

Matthew McConaughey as District Attorney Danny Buck in "Bernie." A tip of the cap, sir.

Just watched this movie this weekend. Hilarious all the way through. This monologue was priceless. McConaughey had me laughing hysterically every damn time he spoke.
