Buckle up, get your game face on, and batten down the proverbial hatches. It's as if the aurora borealis is coinciding with a lunar eclipse and Halley's Comet. We've got it coming from all angles, people, and it's gonna' take some serious fortitude and stamina to keep up. Are you coming with me or are you gonna' wimp out? The decision's yours and yours alone. I've got no sympathy for if you can't take the heat. So ante up, junior, 'cuz it's movie-seeing time.
The new Wes Anderson movie "The Darjeeling Limited" opens today.
The new George Clooney movie "Michael Clayton" opens today.
"The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" opens today.
The Chicago Film Festival (i.e. 160 movies) starts today.
If you need me, I'll be at the movie theater for the next 275 hours. Thanks.

Some of us live in dumpwater towns where none of those movies are out yet, thanks for rubbing it in.
No problem, buddy! In fact, the Chicago Film Festival will have a screening of "Gone Baby Gone" (which, if memory serves, you also want to see) which will include guests of honor Ben and Casey Affleck. Meaning you the viewer could have a chance to hurl insults at the real-life Mr. Jennifer Garner (example: "Loved you in Pearl Harbor!").
That is, if you live in Chicago.
hooray for wes anderson, hope it can stand up to the hype...
Yeah, well I got to meet Andre Goyer, yeah that's right, Andre Goyer, he was in the Monster Squad.
I'm going to go cry now.
