So....
1.) Clint Eastwood plays a scout of sporting talent.
2.) Amy Adams plays his daughter, the daughter he has sent away and who has been out of his life for some time only to now return.
Am I the only rabid "Million Dollar Baby" fan who thinks this is as close as we'll ever get to the story of Frankie Dunn and his daughter?
In other words, oh hell yes. Sure, it looks a little sappy ("I didn't want you to have life in the cheap seats") but I don't care! Let's do this!

I'm with you on this one. Clint Eastwood could act in anything these days and I will be thrilled. It doesn't matter if the movie is chessy, it will still be fun.
Right on! It does look like a perfect part for Clint. And Amy. I'm not as sold on Timberlake, who, oddly, has starred in ANOTHER movie where he's a baseball player (and did not convince). But the first two cancel out the latter.
