Well, Johnny Depp Does Play A Good Drunk

What is going on?  I can't even go to lunch anymore without something else coming down the chute of the Hollywood Remake Baggage Claim.  Now it's 1934's "The Thin Man" as Johnny Depp is actively pursuing Rob Marshall to direct him as lovable lush Nick Charles. It could work. It could work. So long as they don't cast Haylie Duff as Nora Charles (50/50 chance).

All I know is this....the remake of "From Here To Eternity" with Jessica Simpson just drew another step closer.
